Sylvan Valley Industrial Center Building Dedication

October 19, 2018

The Transylvania Economic Alliance is proud to invite elected officials, project stakeholders, community members and media to attend a building dedication celebration on Wednesday, November 28th at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the new Sylvan Valley Industrial Center located at 61 Welcome Street, Brevard, NC 28712. Elected leadership and project stakeholders will gather to celebrate this collaborative project between the City of Brevard, Transylvania County, Golden LEAF Foundation and North Carolina Department of Commerce.

The Sylvan Valley Industrial Center represents a unique community collaboration that has led to the construction and leasing of a state-of-the-art, 60,750 square foot, multi-tenant, manufacturing facility designed to support quality job creation in Transylvania County and the greater Western North Carolina region. Approximately 30,000 square feet of the facility will be immediately occupied and leased by SylvanSport, a leading innovator and manufacturer of outdoor gear headquartered in Brevard, NC. The celebration also coincides with the completion  of a vacant 30,375 square foot shell space which will become available for lease to other expanding or new manufacturing companies interested in opening an operation in the community.
